The award, which was formed in 2010 to honor Allen & Allen’s centennial anniversary, is designed to celebrate local heroes who are making a lasting impact in the community.

Nominations for the 2013 Allen & Allen Hometown Heroes campaign will be accepted from April 1, 2013 to May 3, 2013. The public is encouraged to visit the website, to complete a short nomination form to honor someone making a measurable and meaningful impact in his or her neighborhood, school, organization, or other initiative designed to help others.

Allen & Allen will announce the winning Hometown Heroes on June 12, 2013. Finalists will be honored at a series of award events taking place in Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Charlottesville throughout the summer.
