Thinking of Oklahoma….

oklBy: Brian Roome, Richmondmom.com Co-owner

We all pretty much wake up, get out of bed and conclude that today will be no different than yesterday.

Maybe some of the details change, but we assume that at the end of a long day, we’ll greet our families, kiss our kids, do some chores, crawl under the covers, get some sleep, and do it all over again tomorrow.

The brutal storms and ensuing tornado that raged through the suburbs of Oklahoma City on May 20, 2013 are a fierce reminder that things can – and do – change abruptly.  All of those in Oklahoma will find friends in people they’ve never met before, and strength within themselves that they never knew existed.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to all the families affected by this catastrophe.  Give your loved ones an extra hug today……

And remember our friends in Oklahoma.
