Summer fun was never better at the Children’s Museum of Richmond!
Summer Series
This year, the Children’s Museum of Richmond (CMoR) is holding their Summer Series on select Saturdays at CMoR Central and on some Sunday’s at CMoR Chesterfield.
The annual Summer Series program, sponsored by the Goddard School, returns to the Children’s Museum’s Central location on select Saturdays and will now be offered at the Chesterfield location on select Sundays in July and August! All Summer Series events are free with museum admission.

- Moonbounce Mania
- Richmond Chamber Players present Babar
- The Diggity Dudes
- Super Hero and Princess Day

Christmas in July
Seriously! Don’t miss this fun event at CMoR.
Come to CMoR Central on Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 10am-4pm and enjoy holiday games, crafts, and snow cones as well as visits throughout the day from Snow Queen 2013 and Elves!

Summer Nights
Take advantage of CMoR’s extended summer hours with fun activities each weeknight! All Summer Nights activities are free with museum admission. A variety of food options are available at the Seymour Snack Shack including frozen yogurt, popcorn, snow cones and a variety of hot and cold beverages like coffee and juice.
Magic Mondays
Learn a few new tricks and take in a magic show!
Tune Tuesdays
Open mic night couldn’t be any cuter! Kiddos can sing their favorite tunes on the CMoR karaoke machine!
Wild Wednesdays
Our pals from Pocahontas State Park will lead live animal demonstrations and programs each week!
Theater Thursdays
Live performances and interactive performing arts will be showcased featuring the Children’s Theatre of Virginia.
Fine Arts Fridays
Guest artists and art demonstrations will be featured along with special activities to inspire budding artists. Children can take part in creating a progressive outdoor mural that will become the focal point to the museum entrance!
