Wow – what a fantastic way to help kids who need it most!
Comfort Zone Camp is currently nominated for a $5,000 grant based on the organization that gets the most votes! Let’s make it happen for them. Voting ends November 1, 2013 so you must vote fast and post this on your social networks too.
The cool thing about this grant is that it is on the L.A. Lakers website as part of the Lakers Youth Foundation. How awesome is that?!? They are one of only 5 charities that could win this grant.
Even better! If they win, an anonymous donor has pledged to match this grant.
What have you got to lose but a few seconds – and you could help Comfort Zone Camp win BIG!

Comfort Zone Camp
Mission
Comfort Zone provides grieving children with a voice, a place, and a community in which to heal, grow, and lead more fulfilling lives.
Funding Project
1 in 7 children lose a parent or sibling by the age of 20 and statistics show that children who receive support are less likely to develop behavior disorders or engage in suicide, substance abuse, or drop out of high school. Comfort Zone Camp offers free bereavement programs to children ages 7-17 in a child-focused, camp environment that includes professional therapeutic services, mentorship, and peer support. Since 2008, we have served over 1,200 children in California. The YOU Grant of would allow us to serve an additional 10 campers here in our local community. Vote here!
