We live at love Target, but knowing that your friend or family member is going to run across that special gift you got them next time they buy new underwear and a loaf of bread kinda sucks the fun out of things. In the land of big-box stores it feels almost impossible to find a really unique and special gift.
The museum stores in Richmond have conspired for the 19th year to help you find a truly unique and beautiful (or practical, or funny…) gift that they wont see everywhere.
The annual Museum Stores of Richmond Holiday Shopper’s Fair hosted by the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen invites you to shop ‘till you drop Friday November 8th and Saturday November 9th 9:30am-5pm each day.
Participating stores are:
Agecroft Hall Museum and Gardens
American Civil War Center at Historic Tredegar
Beth Ahabah Museum & Archives
Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden
Preservation Virginia
Richmond Railway Museum
Science Museum of Virginia
The Edgar Allan Poe Museum
The Virginia Shops at the Library of Virginia and the Virginia State Capitol
Virginia Historical Society
Virginia Holocaust Museum
The Virginia War Memorial
So get all your shopping done for the railroad fanatic, the history buff, the gardener, the literary nut, and the kid who has everything on Friday and Saturday at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen.
