My son has a birthday coming up and just heard of a great way to blow his tiny-race-car-loving mind.
Although race car obsessed (I’m very good at making little tiny race car flags out of paper now for Max’s action figures to hold while they view one of Hudson’s amazing 150+ car races) I’ve never taken him to a race before. Hudson is sensitive to noise, and earplugs wouldn’t go over well for him so we’ve always had to enjoy racing from home (watching the movie Cars on repeat).
But wheels started turning (pun intended) for me when I met a 12 year old race car driver and learned more about Arena Racing USA.
This is REAL auto racing made fan and family-friendly, with multiple exciting short races, and just enough noise to help create the racing atmosphere (NO earplugs necessary, and you can still have conversations during the races). Even if you are not a NASCAR fan, Arena Racing is a great way to spend an evening with your kids, friends, and co-workers.
What’s this? No absolute ear-blasting noise? This just might work!
And for the perfect night to give Arena Racing USA a try is this Saturday, February 15 for Education Night, Benefiting Junior Achievement.

Sounds like a perfect Valentine’s weekend date with your favorite race-car-fanatic!
And now, for your child’s enjoyment, the 30 second video I just had to watch about 5x in a row.
