An absolutely record-breaking bacon hungry crowd came to the first annual Bacon Festival at 17th street last year. Bacon obsessed RVA was distraught as the festival was not prepared for all of Richmond to check their diets at the door and feast on bacon and drink craft beer.
But, bacon lovers, do not fret, you can have your cake with bacon too.
This year, the Richmond Bacon Festival returns to the 17th Street Farmers’ Market promising an expanded layout, more event space, more restaurants, more food trucks, more beverage stations, and of course, more bacon.
Learn more about the new layout for 2014, parking locations, participating restaurants, Devils Backbone, and more bacon-y love at the 17th Street Farmers’ Market Facebook page.
