The Children’s Hospital Foundation Four Mile Walk/Run and Superkid Adventure Obstacle Course is back for another year of fun.
The Children’s Hospital Foundation Four Mile Walk/Run, is perfect for the whole family and every level of walker or runner. Celebrate together after the race with refreshments, kids’ activities, costume contest, music and more.
The walk/run will start and finish at the Brook Road Campus of Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU (2924 Brook Road, Richmond, VA), the four mile course winds through the scenic and historic neighborhoods in Richmond’s Northside.
Kids ages 5-10 are welcome to participate in the Superkid Adventure Obstacle Course sponsored by American Family Fitness immediately before the walk/run.
Online registration for the walk/run and obstacle course is open now. Register before September 25, 2015 for a $10 discount ($35 after 9/25). The first 600 registrants will receive a race t-shirt and goody bag. The Superkid Adventure Obstacle Course sponsored by American Family Fitness is $10 on or before September 25 or $15 after. Registration for the Obstacle Course includes a superhero cape, participation ribbon and goody bag.
All proceeds benefit Children’s Hospital Foundation, which supports the programs and initiatives of Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU (CHoR). CHoR is the region’s full-service children’s hospital and offers a robust continuum of pediatric services, research and education. The hospital provides care for approximately 60,000 of children each year.
