Local writer & instagrammer Greg Houser took Design Sponge on a 24 hour tour of Richmond’s local businesses and popular spots.
Houser featured buzz-worthy places like Sub Rosa, Gwar Bar, Proper Pie Co., Lamplighter, Need Supply Co., the Jefferson and the VMFA. All the places are fabulous and the pictures make you fall in love with Richmond even more.

Proper Pie Co. is totally doable with kids… but it’s a little less leisurely and a little more “Don’t climb that!”OBVI, I love all things Richmond, but whenever I read these amazing articles about all the cool things that are happening here, I can’t help feel like the all come from a very different perspective than mine as a parent. For better or for worse, with kids, my 24 hour visit to Richmond might look a little different.
