Soroptimist Members Support FISH Food Pantry

Twelve members of Williamsburg Soroptimist Club conducted a food drive for nonperishable food items at the Five Forks and Norge Farm Fresh grocery locations.  In total, 28 crates and 18 grocery bags of food items were delivered to the FISH food pantry.  A cash donation was also made to FISH. In addition to the food drive, each month, members bring canned and/or boxed food to their business meetings to help keep the shelves of the Fish pantry stocked.  Members deliver the food to Fish.  Needy families in the area are allowed to visit Fish at various times to select groceries to take home with them.  The Soroptimist Club also usually make a financial donation to allow Fish to suppliment needed items that they do not receive from donations.
