Throughout the year, you can get free food on national food days. The items range from free chicken sandwiches to doughnuts. We have gathered the remaining national food days of this year where free food is being offered. Please check the social media accounts of the businesses as it gets closer to the dates. Event: 7-Eleven Day

Date: July 11th
Free Food Item: Slurpees
Details: Historically, 7-Eleven stores have been giving away free Slurpees on July 11th since 2002. Check with a local 7-Eleven to get a nice cold Slurpee!
Event: Cow Appreciation Day
Business: Chick-fil-A
Date: July 12th
Free Food Item: Free Chick-fil-A meal
Details: If you don’t mind dressing like a cow and going into a Chick-fil-A, you can score a free Chick-fil-A meal!
Event: National Ice Cream Day

Free Food Item: Ranges from BOGO ice cream cones to free upgrades like waffle cones
Details: Most places are offering a buy-one-get-one deal but check the social media accounts of your favorite ice cream chain to get the details of their offer.

Details: In the past, restaurants would either offer free or really cheap hot dogs. Sonic Drive-In has offered $1 hot dogs in the past. Check with your local hot dog joint to see if they are participating.

Free Food Item: Free original glazed doughnut or even a free dozen of the original glazed doughnuts
Details: If you go into a participating Krispy Kreme and talk like a pirate to a Krispy Kreme team member, you will get a free original glazed doughnut. If you are a bit more daring, you can dress up in full pirate attire and receive a free dozen of the original glazed doughnuts! Arr!

Details: Like Krispy Kreme, go to a participating Long John Silver’s and talk like a pirate to receive free fish or chicken. You can receive some more fish or chicken by dressing up like a pirate!

Details: To celebrate National Coffee Day, stores like Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Krispy Kreme will offer free coffee. Even stores like Whole Foods Market will offer very cheap coffee for a period of time.

Details: Celebrate Quesopalooza at Moe’s with FREE queso and chips on Thursday, September 15th! The event usually occurs on the third Thursday of September but please check the social media accounts of Moe’s Southwest Grill as it gets closer to the date.
