The holidays are here and it is an exciting time!  We will be surrounded by family and friends while enjoying some amazing meals.  It is also a great time to share what we have with others who are in need.  We have an amazing opportunity in Richmond coming up to be involved in making a positive impact in Richmond and beyond!  The 5th Annual Nutzy’s Rotary Funn Run is happening on December 3, 2016 at 8:30 am.

Nutzy’s Rotary Funn Run is a 5k race benefitting Junior Achievement of Central Virginia and The Flying Squirrels Charities.  The Rotary Club of West Richmond and the Richmond Flying Squirrels have established what is sure to become a holiday tradition for families.  This event is great for all ages.  Whether you are a toddler in a stroller or an adult that prefers to leisurely walk the course, Nutzy’s Rotary Funn Run is a great way to get some exercise outdoors while helping great causes.  Want to make it even more fun?  Come dressed in a costume and you might win one of the Funn Costume Awards!  Don’t forget to stop by the Finish Line Party at the end of the race as well!  Register your family for this fun and rewarding event!

The Flying Squirrels Charities purpose is to partner and connect the Flying Squirrels with the Greater Richmond community in an effort to optimize results from fun and versatile fundraising campaigns to benefit youth in the city of Richmond. Proceeds raised by this year’s Funn Run will benefit the “Renovating Richmond’s Recreation” program, an impactful community campaign to create safe, community-minded spaces that are dedicated to Richmond’s youth.
