Get in the Holiday Spirit with Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights

Lewis Ginter's Dominion Energy GardenFest of LightsOne of the iconic holiday activities in the Richmond area is Lewis Ginter’s Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights.  It is a holiday tradition featuring more than half-a-million twinkling lights, hand-crafted botanical decorations, model trains, holiday dinners, warming fire with s’mores and hot chocolate (for purchase); nightly family activities & more. The region’s ultimate holiday extravaganza!

This year’s theme is Naturally Ever After: Stories in Lights.  As we walked the magically lit grounds of Lewis Ginter, we enjoyed creative displays depicting various fairy tales and folklore to time-treasured classics.  Imagine myriad of stories, plus legends and rhymes, embellished with amazing creativity through a half-million holiday lights!  There are old classics like Humpty Dumpty, Tortoise and the Hare, and Jack and the Beanstalk.  There are newer classics like Charlotte’s Web.  It is a fun game to see who in the family can guess the story.

Beyond the lights, there are unique activities throughout the week to entertain the whole family.  For more information on the activities, click here.  If your family is looking for a holiday, make sure to visit the Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights!
