Christmas is almost here and many of us are filled with excitement and anticipation. During the past few weeks, your family may have enjoyed parties, holiday activities, and Christmas shopping. Even though Thanksgiving was only a month ago, we should be mindful of the things we have and truly be thankful for the big and small things in our lives. We came across a viral video that puts on a light spin on this topic.
The video starts off with a man covered in wrapping paper. He wakes up and is thankful for being alive. His family is also wrapped in wrapping paper and he expresses thankfulness for his family. As the video progresses, you see the man being grateful for even the small things like having electricity, clean water, shoes, food, and briefcase. The video comes to an end with the man being so thankful for having a car to go to work in.
During the holiday season, we can get so busy that we glance over the things that we have. While it can be exciting to receive new gifts, take some time with your family to reflect on the things you are thankful for.
Share with us some of the things that your family is thankful for this holiday season. From everyone at Richmond Mom, we wish you a very Happy Holiday season!
It's time we change our perspective and give thanks for the big & little things in everyday life! Join us as we kick off a series on gratitude: http://bit.ly/1RyHTsH
