Spring Break Camp offers Scouts a great way to get out of the house and enjoy a week of camp in the Spring. Many different merit badges are offered, including many eagle required badges. Henricus Archaeology Spring Break Camps
April 2-6, 2018
This Spring Break, kids ages 8-12 can take part in their very own week-long archaeological program! At Henricus Historical Park, kids will learn about the tools and strategies used to help locate and excavate sites and how these are used by interpreters to create a living history museum. They will work with raw materials to make “artifacts” and participate in physical anthropology and underwater archeology activities. A field trip to an active archaeological site included.

i9 Sports Spring Break Camps

When our kids are out of school, we want them to stay active and have fun! And that means that Spring Break Multi-Sports Camp at i9 Sports are the perfect solution. i9 Sports offers a unique, safe and fun camp experience that offers multiple sports and popular games like Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer, and T-Ball. Playground games such as dodgeball, kickball, capture the flag, sharks and minnows and other favorite game variations will be introduced to make your kids happy and to feel good about themselves each and every day. All camps are designed to maximize fun and education while preparing kids for i9 Sports league play. Camps run from 9:00am until 3:00pm and players are organized into age-appropriate groups with an assigned camp counselor who will lead and monitor all activities. All players will receive a “Certificate of Excellence” and a T-Shirt.

Martial Arts of West End Spring Break Camps

Non-Stop Soccer Spring Break Camps

Non-Stop Soccer offers Spring Break Camps for boys and girls from age 5 to 14. Camps are open to both Recreational and Travel team players. Players will be divided into groups based on their age and skill level to ensure that each participant is challenged to the best of their ability. Richmond PAL Sports Camp is open for boys and girls ages 9 to 13. This year, they will feature a wide variety of activities, including skating, soccer, hiking, football, basketball, fishing, bowling, a movie and more. Plus. On April 5, there will be a football camp with the Washington Redskins! Each group of 10 campers will be led by their own Richmond PAL Police Officer. SpeedWeekend Clinic on Spring Break Weekend
April 7-8, 2018
This two-day clinic hosted by STR (Swimming Technology Research) is directed at swimmers who want to make a big improvement in a short amount of time. The SpeedWeekend format allows for a comprehensive presentation of optimal technique. Two strokes are presented in the morning classroom on each of the two days and then analyzed with Aquanex+Video in the afternoon session. This clinic will provide swimmers with a great deal of individual feedback, numerous opportunities to practice short swims without fatigue, and a complete analysis of each stroke. This all skills camp focuses on improving fundamental skills and knowledge of all aspects of both individual and team baseball competition. The camp is designed to provide players with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and focus a tremendous amount of time on developing good baseball mechanics. All players will develop an understanding of the type of player he needs to be as he prepares to compete at more advanced levels of competition. Available for ages 6-12

Softball Spring Break Camp
This camp will provide girls with the chance to learn new techniques and improve their softball skills. Campers will be instructed in fundamentals including: throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, pitching, base running, and sliding. Games will emphasize techniques learned in daily instruction. All players will have an opportunity to have their throwing and exit speed velocity checked. Available for ages 7-12.

Virginia Repertory Theatre offers a Spring Break filled with creative drama, music and dance in addition to a mix of theatre-related arts and crafts. Weinstein JCC Spring Break Camps

Even when school is out, the fun continues down in Kids’ Place! At Weinstein JCC’s spring break camp, there will be trips planned for the classes and several vendors coming to the program to entertain the kids and keep them active and having fun. In addition to the trips and vendors, kids will have plenty of opportunities to explore their artistic and musical side, as well as working together on several group projects with their classes.
