In Life of the Party, McCarthy plays Deanna, a longtime housewife and mother. When her husband suddenly dumps her, Deanna turns regret into re-set by going back to college…landing in the same class and school as her daughter, who’s not entirely sold on the idea. Plunging headlong into the campus experience, the increasingly outspoken Deanna—now Dee Rock—embraces freedom, fun, and frat boys on her own terms, finding her true self in a senior year no one ever expected.
The film was co-written and co-produced by McCarthy and her husband Ben Falcone, who also directed the movie. Life of the Party marks the third collaboration by this husband-wife power duo. Other films directed by Falcone, co-produced by the couple, and starred in by McCarthy include Tammy and The Boss.
Enter between now and midnight on May 4, 2018, for your chance to win a free pair of tickets to Regal Short Pump’s special screening of Life of the Party.
