Summer is almost here! And after such a long winter, it can’t get here soon enough. For most of us, summer means lazy days, backyard barbecues, time at the pool, and here in Richmond – FREE movies at the park!
Once again, Richmond Parks and Recreation will be offering their FREE Summer Movies in the Park series. Every Friday this summer, from June until August, you and your family can grab your chairs and blankets and head out for a free movie at various Richmond City parks. Activities will start at 8pm and movies will play at 8:30pm (or as soon as it gets dark). All movies are free and refreshments will be available for sale.
For a complete lineup, complete with trailers, see below. And to see everything that the Parks and Recreation Department is offering this summer, download their full Spring and Summer Program Guide here!
