There’s not a parent on the planet that hasn’t watched a toddler throw a tantrum on the floor and thought, “Yeah, I wish I could get away with that.” The fact is, there are times when we all wish that we could have the freedom that toddlers have – that is, the freedom to say and do whatever we want.
In today’s Share Saturday video, we get to take an all-too-funny look at what it would look like if we really DID act exactly like our kids. Team Balmert, made up of husband and wife team Chris and Lindsay Balmert, host a family-friendly vlog that covers the day-to-day life of parenting. In addition to hilarious videos that show Chris in a simulated labor situation, “Parents Gone Wild” (back to school edition), and “when mommy” gets sick, the Balmerts decided to show what it might look like if Chris behaved the same way their toddler does.
Needless to say, the results are hilarious – but only because they are true. So very, very true. But of course, don’t just take our word for it. Watch as Chris builds blanket forts, throws the “wrong” color bowl on the ground and…well…we apologize for the bathroom scene. But honestly, if you’ve raised toddlers, this will only make you laugh harder.
So for all of you parents out there who wish that you could just have one day where you could have the same freedom of expression (i.e., temper tantrums) as toddlers…this one’s for you!
