Make Your Miles Matter at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU’s Four Miles for Kids Fun Run!

Four Miles for Kids_CoverOn Saturday, September 28, runners and walkers of all ages will line up at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU’s (CHoR) Brook Road Campus to start the 2019 Elite Contracting Group Four Miles For Kids, presented by Heartland Concrete. Wearing everything from superhero costumes to team t-shirts, participants will walk, run or jog through Richmond’s beautiful historic Northside neighborhoods to benefit the children in our community who receive care at CHoR.

Every year, this special event brings families and friends together to raise funds and create awareness for the amazing work being done every day at CHoR. And this year is even more special because CHoR has broken ground on a new state-of-the-art building that will serve all children in our community. The facility will provide new operating rooms, imaging capacity, emergency department space and family amenities — exclusively to provide the best care in an environment designed for kids and families.

Plus, this year a Four Miles for Kids will be better than ever…

The Page Auto Group Two-Mile Shortcut

For the first time, participants can take the optional Page Auto Group Two-Mile Shortcut to cut their walk or run in half and get more time to spend enjoying other activities.

Participate as a Four Miles for Kids Patient Champion

Current and former patients are invited to attend for a reduced $5 registration cost and take part in special activities, including a parade to kick-off the race. These special participants will be invited to come before the race with up to three family members or friends to the Patient Champion Tent sponsored by Balducci Realty. While there, patients will enjoy a light breakfast and pick up a special medal and other goodies.
