Rugged Maniac is returning to Virginia Motorsports Park  with 25 epic obstacles and 1 rockin’ party!  Here’s how it works:  Register for the race and you’ll get a chance to run our 3-mile course where you’ll climb towers of shipping containers, rocket down a massive water slide, crawl through underground tunnels, leap over fire and experience some BIG new obstacles (trampolines?!)!  As if that weren’t awesome enough, before and after you run you’ll get to party with thousands of other maniacs in our day-long festival where…

Race to Protect Children

The Race to Protect Children, held at West Broad Village, is a family friendly community event benefiting Greater Richmond SCAN. The 1 mile Kids Run will begin at 8:30am, followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 9:00am.  The race is flat and walker friendly! The Children’s Festival will begin at 9am, and offer fun activities and performances for children and families.

Spring Plant Sale at Lewis Ginter

Every year Richmond’s Canal Walk undergoes a transformation to resemble the famous Floating Gardens of Xochimilco (in Mexico City) for the annual ¿Qué Pasa? Festival to celebrate “Cinco de Mayo” and the Latin American community of greater Richmond. Enjoy free boat rides in the “floating gardens,” live Latin music and performances along the Canal Walk while visitors enjoy scrumptious Latin-flavored food, beverages and shop for arts and crafts.
