Thanks to the participation of local residents, the exhibit includes items such as envelopes, postcards and letters with postmarks or addresses related to old post offices in the county, as well as anecdotes, stories, photos and oral histories.
The exhibit, “Post Offices of Chesterfield County: Connecting the Community Since 1794,” will run through Jan. 18 at the County Museum, 6813 Mimms Loop, Chesterfield. The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A donation of $2 is suggested.
