Virginia Rep announces the opening of The Color Purple on June 20, 2014 at the historic November Theatre downtown. Starring Washington DC actor, Felicia Curry as Celie, Desiree Roots Centeio as Sofia, Carolyn Minor Daughtry as Shug Avery, Jerold Solomon as Mister and Josh Marin as Harpo. A live band will accompany an outstanding cast of thirty-five.
