Aamerican Colleges of Jiu- Jitsu and Karate

Aamerican Colleges of Jiu- Jitsu and Karate is a family oriented environment, owned and operated by a husband and wife team, Master Rick and Sensei Katrina. We strive together to teach kids about respect (treating others as we would like to be treated), honor and integrity (principles that seem to be lost in today’s society), and good basic morals (e.g., don’t lie, cheat, or steal and no profanity).  We also emphasize the importance of getting along with others.  Everyone knows it’s impossible to have too many friends.

In our summer program kids arrive between 7:30 & 9:00 am. On movie days we leave at 9:10am.  Quiet Time is in the morning until all the kids arrive.  Generally, games are played during this time.  Morning snack, provided by the parent, is from 9:00 –9:15 am.  After morning snack, we run an hour long Martial Arts class, covering our basic core material.  After morning class we change into appropriate attire for the day’s field trip, taking with us our lunches also provided by the parent. We generally return between 3:00 & 4:00 pm. We provide an afternoon snack and everyone changes from field trip attire into uniforms for our afternoon class. The focus of this Martial Arts class is on self-defense.  Class ends around 5:00 pm and we ask that kids be picked up between 5:00 & 6:00 pm.

Although our summer camp is designed for those who need child care for the entire summer, we welcome kids who only need a week or several weeks at a time. Discounts are provided for those who enroll for the entire summer.
