At the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, kids make art with the help of some of Richmond’s most talented professional artists.
Kids ages 5 to 14 can choose from courses such as Wheel Throwing, Darkroom Photography, Stop Motion Animation, and Mural Painting. Youth ages 15 to 18 should consider Art League, which runs on evenings in the summer.
One-week sessions run from June 15 to September 4. Morning classes are from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and afternoon classes are from 1 – 4 p.m. Kids can be dropped off for morning classes beginning at 8:30 a.m. and for afternoon classes beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Extended day add-ons are available for only $50, and a select number of tuition assistance scholarships are available.
