Celebrate Richmond! April 2, 2011 is the annual Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10K. The race is FULL and registration is closed* but that does not mean you can’t come out and cheer on the runners. Look out for Richmondmom and the Mother Runners who have trained for the 10K with the Mom’s Treehouse team!
The event kicks off with the Virginia 529 Kids Fun Run at 8:00am followed by the 10K at 8:30am. Join the runners just across from the finish line at the Subway Post Race Festival in Monroe Park!
And Sports Backers are encouraging everyone to wear black and gold to support the VCU Rams who will play Butler in Houston for the NCAA Final Four.
*A limited number of entries are still available through Tuesday, March 29 by making a $200 donation to the Massey Cancer Center. Print out an entry form.
