Free Admission to Midlothian Village Day Festival for Family Fun: October 20

The 31st Annual Midlothian Village Day Festival & Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Midlothian Middle School. It’s a fantastic day of fun for the entire family!

The day starts with a parade along Midlothian Turnpike sponsored by the Midlothian Foundation. More parade information can be found by going to the Midlothian Foundation’s website.

There is no cost for admission to the festival. Games and inflatables are available for children. Tickets can be purchased at the event. Also included are:

  • Food from concession stands – hot dogs, hamburgers, cotton candy, sodas, and more
  • Live entertainment throughout the day including bands, jump rope groups, gymnastics teams, martial arts demos, and more.
  • Crafters and retail consultants with booths and lots of great buys.
  • Raffle and silent auction sponsored by Midlothian Junior Women’s Club.

The Festival is sponsored each year by the Midlothian Junior Women’s Club.  The proceeds from the Festival support the Cinderella Dreams Project and are donated to community organizations such as Richmond Friends of the Homeless, ASK, Freedom House, FeedMore and many more.  Your support, as a patron, food vendor, crafter, entertainer or Festival attendee, enables them to give back to the community.
