Icy Cold Beverages and Garden Fresh Tomatoes at Shockoe Tomato Festival on July 20

If you missed the Hanover Tomato Festival this past weekend, don’t worry. Now you can enjoy the Shockoe Tomato Festival on July 20, 2013.

Summer is here and so are the fresh, juicy tomatoes. Bring your family and bring your friends to the 17th Street Farmers’ Market in historic Shockoe Bottom on Saturday July 20th from 11am – 4pm. Sample local tomato dishes and products from some of Richmond’s most loved restaurants and vendors while you enjoy live music, and plenty of ice-cold beverages.

From 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., you can:

• listen to live music
• shop for arts & crafts
• buy tomatoes (what else!)
• indulge a bit with tomato sandwiches, fried green tomatoes, tomato pie, salsas, and more creative dishes with tomatoes

This is sure to be a festive event with ice cold beverages, juicy tomatoes and lots of family fun. We’ll see you there!
