Amazon Prime has offered free 2-day delivery for its members for a while now. It is very useful for parents and families when they have busy schedules. This past holiday season, Amazon launched its free 2-hour delivery service in the Richmond area but members had to use the Amazon mobile app to place orders. Well, Amazon just announced that it will be offering free same-day delivery to members in the Richmond area and they don’t have to use its mobile app! You can now place orders on their website or on their mobile app in the morning and get your orders by 9pm the same day. There are a few things to know regarding this service. In order to get free same-day delivery, the order must be greater than $35 and all of the items on the order must have the “FREE Same-Day” on its description page.
