It IS possible to find a great job that allows you to grow professionally and still be a great Richmondmom.

Considering a flexible work arrangement? YOU CAN DO IT! This Richmondmom, and many others, have forged down that path with stellar results:

Debbie D: Debbie is a human resources professional at LandAmerica Financial Group, A Fortune Most Admired Company headquartered in Richmond. This year she proposed a flexible work option to her manager. Prior to the birth of her son Hunter, Debbie, an Employee Relations specialist worked a 5-day week. Debbie knew that the impending birth of her son, with an hour-long commute to Richmond from her home in Williamsburg, would put a major cramp on family and personal time. With a little help from her friends & some careful planning and time management, Debbie proposed a 3-day work week in which she would pack in as much quality work as possible, still maintain communications as much as possible on off days, and manage to enjoy the true fruits of her labor: some quality time with her "peapod" Hunter, 8 months.
