Rocknoceros has done it again!
Northern Virginia’s premier trio for children has created a musical celebration of children everywhere. Coach Cotton, Williebob, and Boogie Bennie are entertaining with their incredibly beautiful and upbeat music, which also carries important messages about life, science and more. They even have a 24-page book “Colonel Purple Turtle’s Purple Turtle Journal” to go with their latest CD release on September 13, 2011.
The family-friendly, rock band and singing trio have been best friends since childhood and they’re committed to making a difference in children’s lives by creating music, sounds and compositions that teach important lessons while entertaining children.
Their new book and Colonel Purple Turtle CD are appropriate for ages 4-12 — but you may find moms and dads tapping to the beat too. A full 47 minutes of fun, dance, entertainment, laughter and great lessons are all packed onto this exciting CD.
Harry Elefante, Early Worm, What’s Your Favorite Animal?, Pirate Harvey, We Are Frogs, and Double-O Chicken are just some of the amazing songs included. After listening to this CD, my grandchildren were dancing and singing the lyrics from memory and having a great time. The musical style is unique and memorable, making it easier for kids to capture important messages, and the music makes it fun for kids to get moving in healthy ways.
