Take the family on a trip to Ancient Arabia with Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Scheherazade”, based on “One Thousand and One Nights”. Narrated by Master Story-Teller Charlotte Blake Alston, this musical journey will hold your children (and you!) spellbound with its lyrical drama. Erin R. Freeman, Conductor, with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra.

There is a Pre-concert Festival featuring the Instrument Petting Zoo and arts and crafts with the Children’s Museum of Richmond starting at at 10:00 AM.
