I’m a thirty-something girl, living in Richmond, Virginia, defending my Yankee accent against laughter from the Southerners surrounding me. I love really good beer, the color pink, vintage anything, Muay Thai, glitter, dogs, yoga, old homes, and typography. I really do dance like no one is watching.
And I’m raising $25,151 to support cancer research at VCU’s Massey Cancer Center as part of the 2013 Massey Challenge.
With just a few weeks left until the 2013 Ukrops Monument Avenue 10K, we just had to share this blog with our Richmondmom.com readers to update you about Kaity Kasper’s journey to raise $25,151.
Kaity says, “A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has gotten us this far down the road! I just know that we will reach $25,151 before April 13, 2013 – together and with the help of the folks we can reach together! As always, thank you for all you do to help support the research that will bring a cure for cancer in our lifetimes. Each of you is making sure you hold up your end of the bargain – so that Massey’s researchers can uphold theirs!”
Visit Kaity’s blog, make a donation if possible, and spread the word to help her reach $25,151! And don’t miss her video below – you’ll be inspired!
