National Donut Day only comes around once a year.
Pick up a free donut of any variety at Krispy Kreme or Dunkin’ Donuts to celebrate.
If you want to go local, RVA has local donut shops popping up all over the place (donuts are the new froyo which were the new cupcakes). Between Sugar Shack, Duck Donuts, Country Style and Dixie Donuts there’s not shortage of great locally made donuts (and alteration).
And in case you were thinking that National Donut Day isn’t actually a thing, it might be more legit than you thought… it even has it’s own website.
