There are so many things that you just don’t understand until you become a parent. All of the sacrifices your parents made for you suddenly become clear once you have kids of your own. The lack of sleep, the relentless bedtime routines, the late nights up with a sick child. The disappointment when your child makes bad choices and the unconditional love that no choice they make can alter. There is no doubt about it that parenting is one of the most difficult and most rewarding jobs anyone can take on.
