Art Factory and Party Place
Each day we will experiment with different elements, textures and techniques through canvas painting, mixed media, wall murals, 3-dimensional art, art through science, color exploration and so much more! Great for kids 5-14 years old.
ArtHaus Visual Arts Studio
Our 4 day camp will be a wonderful time to create, explore and discover masterful works of art through the use of clay, paint and multi-media materials. We will focus on many of the elements of spring through the works on Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh and Edward Hopper (just to name a few). By creating both paintings, collage and sculpture, your child will be thrilled with the week’s fun and engaging lessons that will captivate their imaginations! All materials are provided!
Camp T. Brady Saunders
Spring Break Camp is a great way to get out of the house and enjoy a week of camp in the Spring. Many different merit badges are offered, including many eagle required badges. Spring Break Camp operates on a block system, allowing Scouts to have a relaxed atmosphere while earning merit badges.
Center for Creative Arts
Spring Break Art classes feature unique projects each day, including cartoon drawing, zentangles, watercolors, splashed paint, acrylics on canvas, and clay, plus game time or outdoor recess. Monday – Friday, April 10-14, ages 5-7 9:00 a.m. – noon, Ages 8+ 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Choose 1 or more days.
Chesterbrook Academy Preschool
Our camps offer fun filled programs for children ages 5-12. Each week, campers jump into action, participating in exciting sports programs, exploring nature, becoming involved in performing and creative arts, playing a part in group activities and attending special events.
Engineering for Kids – RVA
Offers after-school, evening and weekend classes, summer, spring and winter break camps, and birthday parties for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Students learn about robotics, coding, and all branches of engineering. Offered at our Midlothian Learning Center and at local schools and libraries. Spring Break Camp Days: A Pirate Adventure Camp
Ahoy, Scallywags! Join the pirate crew for a hearty breakfast of cacklefruit, hardtack, and more. Then set sail for adventure as we seek out long lost treasures. Paddle canoes through pirate coves and around deserted islands. Afterwards, test your carpentry skills as you build your own pirate treasure chest to take home. No experience necessary. Spring Break Camp Days: Zombie Survivor Camp
Will you survive if zombies invade Henrico? Come out to this survival skills one day camp! You will learn how to make a shelter, how to build and cook over fire, plus archery and much more! Henricus Archaeology Spring Break Camp
Participate in a week-long archaeological program at Henricus Historical Park. Learn about the tools and strategies used to help locate and excavate sites and the archaeological methods used to create a living history museum. Sort, catalog and clean artifacts found in the area and help us locate the 1611 Henricus fort! Take a field trip to an active archaeological site.
Jamestown 4-H Center
Can’t wait? Do you miss camp and all that it has to offer? Archery? Rifle? Sports? Marine Science? Fishing? Team Adventure? Campfire? If you do, then we have the Spring Break experience for you! Come to Jamestown 4-H Educational Center and experience summer camp a little earlier. Fun will be on the menu and we know that you are going to have a lot of it!!
Language Artists
Language Artists offers classes for children which uses crafting to create new language skills. Located in Chesterfield County, we teach classes to children ages 3-12yrs. Most of our classes are taught in small groups with a maximum of 7 children. There are weekly classes, spring break specials, pop-in days, and off-site preschool enrichment and after school programs. We are currently enrolling in our French class, but intend to add Spanish and Sign Language in the near future!
Martial Arts of West End
Get an idea what our Summer Camp program is like and spend Spring Break with Martial Arts World! This week our campers will get a taste of our adventure camp with field trips, martial arts classes every day, arts and crafts and indoor rock climbing! You can be sure your child will have a great experience in a positive safe environment that has been serving Henrico County for 22 years. Our camp is focused on good constructive fun, coupled with awesome exercise! Spring Break Camp is $159, which includes all field trips and activities. Maymont
Spend spring break week at Maymont! Indoor exhibits including Maymont Mansion and the Nature Center will be open all week (even on Monday, when they are usually closed), and there will be something fun to do every day! Most programs require advance registration. Go to our event calendar to register online.
Midlothian Athletic Club
MAC offers an All Sports Camp for children ages 5-13. All Sports Camp keeps children active and engaged through various team sports and team building activities. Each day will focus on a different team sport from soccer to basketball as well as spend time with favorite playground games like kickball and Capture the Flag.
Multiplication Madness Camp
Multiplication Madness will focus on learning multiplication facts (0-12) in a positive, effective, and fun way. Each day will be packed with games and activities to help your child learn or review their multiplication skills. Watch as your children begin to learn their multiplication facts in a matter of days! Camp is geared towards 2nd to 5th graders, but all grades are welcome, and previous multiplication experience isn’t necessary.
Non-Stop Soccer
The Spring Break Camp is open to both RECREATIONAL and TRAVEL team players ages 5-14 years old. Players will be divided into groups based on their age and skill level to ensure that each participant is challenged to the best of their ability. This camp will concentrate on proper ball handling techniques through high repetition training and small sided games. Special emphasis is placed on confidence building by encouraging each player to use their imagination, take risks, and be creative while trying new skills learned.
Richmond PAL Sports Camp
Welcome to The 2017 Spring Break Sports camp for 9-13 year old boys and girls. Activities include Skating, baseball, hiking, football, basketball, fishing, bowling and a movie.
RISE Baseball
The 2016 RISE Baseball 3 Day Spring Break Camp: April 11th, 12th, 13th from 8am-4:00pm is full of hitting, fielding and pitching instruction from some of the most renowned coaches in the Richmond, Midlothian and Chesterfield area. The RISE Baseball 3 day Spring Break Camp also includes baseball games on indoor fields, Home Run Derby, and the Home Plate Pitching machine at RISE Baseball’s indoor facility. This camp will not only be full of fun activity, but emphasizes a focus on baseball fundamentals and the development of every player. The RISE Baseball 3 Day Spring Break Camp includes lunch and FREE RISE Baseball gear.
SpeedWeek Swim Camp
At this 5-day swim camp, swimmers receive comprehensive technique instruction and analysis with Dr. Rod Havriluk, world-renowned biomechanist and swimming technique expert. Swimmers receive individual feedback to improve technique and learn practice strategies so they can continue to improve when they return to their normal training routine. Patented Aquanex analysis captures force data and underwater video to provide visual and quantitative technique data. This camp is open to competitive swimmers ages 10 and up.
Sports Center of Richmond (SCOR)
Get in the game with our spring break camps at SCOR! SCOR offers the following camps for ALL weeks of camp! Our Lil’ Kickers Camp for children ages 3-9 years! Our All Sports Camp (ages 5-13) taught by our enthusiastic and qualified coaches. Our Soccer Skills Camp (ages 8-16) provide training by qualified coaches who teach soccer all year long.
SwimRVA
You don’t need to leave Richmond to enjoy the water this year during spring break. SwimRVA has a great spring break swim and activity camp for kids ages 6-12 years old, April 10-14. The SwimRVA Spring Break Camp includes land and water activities that include games, swim instruction, snacks and a full day of events. Virginia Rep
Each day will be filled with creative drama, music and dance in addition to a mix of theatre related arts and crafts inspired by our production of Disney’s Beauty and The Beast. On the last day campers will perform selections from the show for family and friends on the Children’s Theatre stage! The camp is for current kindergarten through 5th Graders and occurs April 10-14, 2017 Monday – Friday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tuition: $275 (Each additional sibling: 20% off)
