More than 40 summer camps from the Richmond area and beyond are gearing up to provide area families with all the information they need to plan their kids’ activities this summer.
The Diggity Dudes will kick off the day with a live concert at 1:00 and the kids can get a free climb on the rock walls inside Peak Experiences!
The event is free and will be held rain or shine. Come hungry because lunch will be available for purchase from local food trucks The Boardwalk, Peace of Pizza and Gelati Celesti.
So make sure to mark your calendars for Sunday, March 29th from 1-4 at Peak Experiences Indoor Climbing, located near Robious Road and Huguenot Road, behind The Shoppes at Bellgrade, at 11421 Polo Circle in Midlothian.

Asperger’s Syndrome: Charter House Summer Camp for Teens with Asperger’s Syndrome. Summer is a great time for teenagers to learn new skills and make new friends. For teens with Asperger’s Syndrome or high-functioning autism, it can be a challenge to find a summer camp that fits their needs. Charterhouse School has a summer camp designed just for these students! Camp Courage is a seven-week summer day camp for rising juniors, seniors and recent high school graduates with Asperger’s Syndrome or high-functioning autism. The camp helps students develop social skills and expand their job skills. “Those with Asperger’s Syndrome struggle with social skills such as learning body language, knowing when to start and stop a conversation and understanding the nuances and interpretations of speech,” said Sasha Yazdegerdi, Associate Clinical Director of Educational Services at Charterhouse School. “Things like Camp Courage give these teens a chance to practice these social skills and to make friends with others who have similar interests.” The camp begins on June 24 and runs through August 8, Monday through Thursday. Heart of Ireland. Our 4-day Irish dance camps will give your dancer a taste of both group and solo Irish dancing. VCU Head Women’s Basketball Coach Marlene Stollings has announced the dates for her series of 2013 summer camps, beginning with an Individual Day Camp running June 17-19. Stollings also offers a One-Day Shootout June 23 and Team Camp, which runs from Aug. 2-4. All three camps will be held on VCU’s campus inside the state-of-the-art Stuart C. Siegel Center.

Master Cho’s Tae Kwon Do Summer Camp. It is a full day camp, from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm with extended care available. Tennis Camp – Making of a Champion Camps. This camp provides a wonderful learning experience for beginner to intermediate tennis players. Maymont Summer Discovery Camps No registration deadline (we accept registrations until camp is full) Registration begins Feb. 7 for Maymont members, Feb. 21st for non-members. Maymont’s wildly popular summer camps offer outdoor adventures, animal encounters, games, crafts and hands-on activities for young nature explorers ages 4 to 14. Visual Arts Center of Richmond Summer ArtVenture Camp: Week-long studio art classes in a positive, nurturing learning environment. Each class provides focused attention on a specific media, skill or subject, and each week brings a selection of unique choices. All classes are taught by a professional artist and artists-educators who will help inspire and develop individual expression. Morning studio classes (9:00am – 12:00pm) and afternoon studio classes (1:00 – 4:00pm) classes are available for all age groups. Enrollment is limited to 10 students per class to allow for individual instruction and learning. Some classes integrate teamwork or collaborative projects.
