Kid Quest – 9:00 a.m. – 5:00p.m.; Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens; Families use clever clues and mapping skills to find their way to a hidden treasure in the Garden. Along the way, children and their adults are encouraged to record the names of plants they encounter. Once the quest is completed, children return to the admission desk at the Robins Visitor Center to receive a collectable button. New edition printed every two months. Free with Garden Admission.

American Turning Point: The Civil War in Virginia – - Relates the personal experiences of the free and enslaved men, women and children of wartime Virginia. A Feel for Color – Children’s Museum of Richmond with quilted reproductions of famous works of art. Quilts created in various textures to help vision-impaired people nejoy these famous works. Available through July 24, 2011.
