Nine historic downtown sites host a free holiday open house, featuring Snow Bear, guided tours, living history, gift shops, children’s activities, refreshments, carriage rides, music, and more. 2010 participating sites include the Valentine Richmond History Center, the John Marshall House, the Virginia State Capitol, St. Paul’s Church, the Museum and White House of the Confederacy, Monumental Church, the Egyptian Building, the Beers House and St. John’s Church.
Holiday Glitter: Monument Avenue After Dark Walking Tours

Message about Parking…
Beginning on December 1, 2010, and continuing through January 2011, the History Center parking lot off of 10th Street will be closed due to a major renovation project. Visitors and appointments may find parking in the VCU Hospital Visitor Lot, accessible from 12th Street at Leigh; in the Coliseum Parking Deck, between 7th and 8th streets at Clay; and at metered, on-street spaces. We look forward to offering a more accessible space once construction is complete and apologize in advance for any inconvenience.
