Free Kids and Family Yoga Class: DVD Release Party on November 10

PRESS RELEASE:

October 30, 2012 – Richmond, Virginia – Nitya Griffith, recognized for her ability to teach yoga to children, is pleased to announce the release of her first DVD, “Yoga with Nitya.

This interactive DVD will teach children the benefits of yoga through four complete classes, each themed by one of the seasons. Each class is a yoga adventure where children will explore the natural world, learn fun poses, and stretch their bodies and imaginations. Griffith incorporates breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation tools that teach children the importance of focus and allow them to release anxiety and stress. Yoga with Nitya features not only classic yoga techniques, but is packed with original songs and material that will enhance learning and create a healthy and memorable experience.

“Yoga with Nitya” was created in partnership with Emmy Award winning producer Roberta Oster Sachs of Oster Sachs Communications and Rocket Pop Media. It features contributions from Park Group and musician Marc Langelier.

Nitya Griffith, of Richmond, Virginia, says, “If I achieve nothing else in my life, I hope to inspire as many children as I can to honor themselves, treat others with compassion, and love and treasure this beautiful world that we all share and call home.”

Griffith will host a DVD release party in Richmond, Virginia on November 10, 2012. The event is open to the press and will be held at Orchard House School, 500 North Allen Avenue, Richmond, Virginia.
