Here’s an important news flash!
March 1, 2011 is National Pancake Day!
National Pancake Day is a day when IHOP gives back to communities in which they operate restaurants. One way they celebrate is by holding a “Stacks for Good Acts” contest.
All you need to do is tell them about a good deed done for someone else and become eligible to win a free IHOP pancake breakfast for the entire year! Check out the entire set of official rules at this website.
Now, here’s even more great news.
On National Pancake Day, Tuesday, March 1, 2011, IHOP will give guests one FREE short stack of its signature buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at more than 1,500 restaurants throughout the United States. In return, IHOP asks guests to make a voluntary donation to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities.
These are delicious, fluffy pancakes just like grandma makes (or maybe better)! And it’s a perfect day to take the grandchildren out for a delicious treat.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ “Miracle Balloons” will also be sold for $1 and $5 each and will be personalized and displayed at participating IHOP restaurants from February 1 through March 1, 2011. Miracle Balloons offer guests an additional way to show their support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and contribute to the IHOP National Pancake Day fundraising effort.
IHOP has raised more than $5.35 million to support charities in the communities they serve.
IHOP restaurants are located throughout the Greater Richmond area, and those offering a free short-stack of pancakes on March 1 include:
- 9810 W. Broad Street, Glen Allen, VA
- 7714 Midlothian Turnpike, Richmond VA
- 12321 Chattanooga Plaza, Midlothian, VA
Visit their online restaurant locator to find the location nearest you.
