As if Japan has not suffered enough already, another 7.4 magnitude earthquake hit today with warnings of a possible tsunami. This earthquake is centered around the same general area as the first earthquake that has killed more than 25,000 people and devastated a country.
Officials do not believe that this latest earthquake has caused further damage to nuclear plants, but only time will tell.
Richmond is many thousands of miles from Japan, but as moms and grandmoms, our hearts go out to the people in Japan and their families. A USA Today article on March 22, 2011 provides tips and links for those who want to helpl victims of Japan.
