As we spring into the coming weeks and months, the weather is warming up and so are the activities at Full Circle. As a matter of fact, the 2011 Full Circle Round Up is scheduled for Sunday, May 22, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Innsbrook Picnic Area near Short Pump.
What’s so great about the Round Up?
Well, other than the fact that 100% of the proceeds from the event are used to help children and families who are grieving the loss of loved ones, there are lots of other benefits to attending the gala.
Local country radio station K95 is spending the afternoon at the Round Up, with entertainment also provided by Jonathan the Juggler. Jonathan’s unmistakable performances leave children and adults astonished and bursting with laughter. Objects appear, disappear and reappear. Coins multiply and unbelievable acts of magic create laughter and excitement.
But that’s just the beginning of the fun!
Moonbounces, fishing, games and crafts will be available for all ages. Virginia Fishing Adventures has graciously offered to lead the fishing for the event and Tee Clarkson is no stranger to fishing either. He’s guided fly fishing trips in the western United States and South America, and now he provides fishing camps for children in Virginia. Tee was recently featured right here on Richmondmom.com.
And don’t forget the delicious barbeque and cold beverages being served along with lots of other treats. They’ll keep you energized as you explore the many activities and entertainment throughout the Round Up.

About Full Circle
The mission of Full Circle is to provide children and their families with creative ways to express their grief and remember their loved one. The Center provides hands on healing for grieving children and their families through counseling services, remembrance programs, and educational support. They believe in the power of the group process. They recognize that creative outlets allow individuals to express themselves in a non-threatening and healing manner. They also believe there should be no barriers for those seeking grief support so services are offered at no expense to families. They rely 100% on donations and events like the 2011 Annual Round Up.
Don’t miss this opportunity to have a fun, safe family outing on May 22 and do something good for those who are grieving the loss of loved ones at the same time. Many of the people who have taken advantage of the Full Circle services to manage through their grief process will be on hand, and this is one more way to show support and love for all of them.
