Join our Team Send-Off as we head for Austin with Chevy

Thank you, Real Life Studios, for capturing Team RVAEpicTales in photos.

You’ve followed our RVAEpicTales Facebook page, read our blog posts, and seen us on Twitter. And it all happened because of our amazing readers, who make our blog what it is today.

We’ve been working for weeks building our team plan, reaching out to our Adopt-a-Classroom teachers and gaining momentum with all of our amazing supporters in Richmond (including a great Wine Down Wednesday event this week raising $700 for Carver Elementary!)

It’s almost time. . .to hop in the Chevy Traverse and head out on the journey of a lifetime: 1417 miles, 1 Chevy, 4 women, 2.5 days. We’ll be in Austin, Texas (God willing!) by Thursday, 3/8/12 at 7:30 to celebrate with the five other Chevy teams across the country at SXSW.

Please join our Send-Off Party at Dominion Auto Group on Tuesday, 3/6/12 at 4pm where we’ll share our route, wave good-bye to our family and friends and present a check to our Richmond Adopt-a-Classroom teacher Alexander Mustico.

Just for attending you’ll get a chance to win your own Chevy Traverse for a long weekend (yeah, we wish we could keep ours, too.)

Our Chevy Traverse. . .aka "home" for next week!

The Team RVA EpicTales Send-Off scoop:

  • Tuesday, 3/6/12, 4:00pm

Alexander Mustico, our Richmond Adopt-a-Classroom teacher from Carver Elementary School

  • Dominion Auto Group, 12050  West Broad Street, Richmond
  • Bring family and friends and if you can, a few school supplies for our Richmond classroom at Carver Elementary. They especially need: pencils, crayons, loose-leaf notebook paper, tissues, hand sanitizer and glue sticks!

Need more details? Email [email protected].

Otherwise, just show up, win some schwag, grab a hot dog, and witness part of our little mark on Richmond history!
