Complete Care Birthing Center in Richmond offers resources for expectant mothers

Interested in all natural childbirth? Want to learn about a different birth option in Richmond? Visit the Complete Care Birthing Center during one of their monthly tours. Held monthly on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 7-8pm at 7109 Jahnke Rd. Richmond, VA 23225.

Their mission is to provide our community with an out of hospital birth experience that allows women to birth and bond with their babies in a safe comfortable family centered environment. They have a great list of questions for expectant mothers, too.

Amy Lavelle

Amy Lavelle, PhD, toLabor trained Professional Doula offering Birth Doula Services for the Richmond area. Amy has worked in the biotechnology industry since 2001 but left to receive her PhD in Human and Molecular Genetics from VCU/MCV in 2009 ( and gave birth to her daughter two weeks later) and then returned to work for a contract research organization. In her "free" time she volunteers as the chair for Richmond Doulas and on the Leadership team for Birth Matters VA - Richmond.
