Thanks for voting us one of Richmond’s best resources

Hey guys! Thanks for voting us one of Richmond’s Best Parenting Resources according to Richmond Magazine’s Best and Worst 2011 (we’re super-duper glad we weren’t in the “worst” category, that would be a huge bummer.)

We work really hard to bring you the best, and love your ideas, thoughts and input all the time, so thanks! So far over 175,000 folks have come to Richmondmom.com. Pretty neat considering this site started at my kitchen table after kid #3 was born, when I had zero web experience and a tiny bit of seed cash. The site then became my job after corporate downsizing gave me (and a thousand or so of my coworkers) the boot.

Maybe next year, we’ll make it to #1! Hopefully by then our name will be spelled correctly, too
