Chevy Volt Lands at The Science Museum of Virginia

Chevy Volt lands at The Museum.

The Science Museum of Virginia is showcasing yet another incredible American innovation. They took delivery of one of Central Virginia’s first Chevy Volts – the new electric car developed by General Motors.

What fun for their CWO, Chief Wonder Officer, who will travel locally and throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia promoting the wonders and amazement of science and technology.

The Museum continues to build on its incredible displays and exhibits. Last month, they installed and activated a charging station in front of the building that can be used by visitors who need to recharge their electric cars.

They also have a number of energy exhibits on display with various examples of photovoltaic cells and even a working windmill. The Museum recently installed “Watt Wall” explores various sources of energy used today.

The Science Museum of Virginia offers so much for kids and adults and it’s the perfect place to play, interact, learn and have fun all at one time.

Head over the The Museum and see what they have to offer — but plan to spend the day because there will be lots to explore.
