Kim's son in "Friendship 7"

Kim Hodges was the winner of last week’s contest for the Cultural Events at The Science Museum of Virginia and she was a very enthusiastic winner. She and her son enjoyed an exciting and fun visit to the Museum this past Saturday, along with two of her friends and their kids. YOU could be our next big winner when you enter our contest below.

“We had a great time at the museum.  Two friends came along with their boys too.  They loved the retired trains outside the best… typical 3-4 year old boys.  They all sat mesmerized by the ‘Rat Basketball’ too!” laughs Kim.

Ironically, Kim’s grandfather made fiberglass space capsules and one of his creations is actually in the Science Museum.  “I was so glad to let my son play in it for the first time.  I’ve already shown my grandmother the picture and she was so touched to see it.  She has pictures of me and my cousins in it when we were kids.  Thanks for the great chance to go and play!” relates Kim. We’ve included a copy of Kim’s son in her grandfather’s “Friendship 7″ space capsule – what a wonderful moment for both of them!

We’re excited that Kim was able to take advantage of this fun and educational event with her family and friends. RACE: Are We So Different is an incredibly engaging and educational opportunity for everyone.  And YOU could be our next lucky winner of a family 4-pack of tickets.
