Kid Dictionary: A must-read for moms who love humor

YouTube Preview ImageAnd. . what mom doesn’t need a bit of humor in her world?

Yesterday, my five-year-old said, “Mama, I don’t ever want to get old. Old people are wrinkly and have yellow teeth, like you, so you have to put those white strips on your teeth.”  Thanks, son. I love a positive daily affirmation.

This site may be the answer–check out TheKidDictionary.com for some ridiculous, hilarious, and close-to-home giggles like these:

Lulla-Bye-Bye: Long delicate process of sneaking from the bed of a toddler who makes you lie down with him at night

Bootality: Kids understanding that “Keep your hands to yourself” means it’s still okay to kick someone

and one I’m frequently guilty of: Garboflage: The practice of hiding your child’s art under other trash so they don’t realize you’re throwing it away

Hope you get a kick out of these like I do. ‘Cause some days if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry.

Cute. My current fave is “squares of softness”: the blanket with quilted squares of chenille.
