La Leche League of Richmond is offering Breastfeeding Solutions

A new La Leche League program is being offered at It’s Hip To Be Round: Avoiding and Overcoming Difficulties with Breastfeeding

Thursday June 9th, July 14th, Aug 11th and Sept 8th

Are you worried you won’t make enough milk for your baby?  Do you have sore nipples?  Do you need to maintain milk supply while being away from your baby?  Do you have other concerns? Have you been there, done that and want to share with new and expectant moms?

Please join the La Leche League of Richmond  with your baby for mother-to-mother discussion and problem solving:

At It’s Hip to Be Round 3124 W. Cary St. 6-7pm

This program is open to pregnant moms, new mothers, and experienced mothers wishing to share their own strategies

Amy Lavelle

Amy Lavelle, PhD, toLabor trained Professional Doula offering Birth Doula Services for the Richmond area. Amy has worked in the biotechnology industry since 2001 but left to receive her PhD in Human and Molecular Genetics from VCU/MCV in 2009 ( and gave birth to her daughter two weeks later) and then returned to work for a contract research organization. In her "free" time she volunteers as the chair for Richmond Doulas and on the Leadership team for Birth Matters VA - Richmond.
