State Farm Agent, Hope Woolwine saw her friend James' family through it all.
James was the kind of guy that could always make you laugh. He and Hope became fast friends thirty years ago, in middle school. Shortly after James got married 21 years ago, Hope began helping him with his insurance and financial planning needs. She sold him a life insurance policy.
Fifteen years ago, James and his family moved to Texas. Over the years, they maintained both their friendship and business relationship, talking on the phone, catching up via email and occasionally visiting when James was back in Richmond.

Upon hearing the news, Hope rushed to James’ family farm in North Carolina to help the family deal with the aftermath of a sudden death: funeral expenses (they wanted James to be buried in the family plot on their farm), how to keep their house without his income, and how to manage life without such a vital force.
Hope commuted to and from North Carolina for three days, ensuring James’s family had everything they needed and that the policy he had purchased years ago was going to ease this grieving family back into financial security.
James’ family will be forever grateful to Hope, for urging James to purchase his policy and for being there when they needed her the most.
